Valley View After School Club

Valley View out of school club is based in two rooms: reception and KS1 are in the nursery building, KS2 are in the school hall.

All our Out of School clubs are Ofsted registered and as such we adhere to all child-practitioner ratios required of us. This means that your child will be safe and secure within our care whilst having a great time after a hard day at school.

On arrival your child will be given a variety of different activities to choose from. These include arts, crafts, board games, books, sports equipment and many other activities are on offer.

At the start of term, we do a wish list questionnaire with the children to ensure we have all the resources your child might like to ensure they have the best time with us. We also offer a quiet area for children to start their homework or just read a book.

We also have access to the school outdoor play area which is a firm favourite, whatever the weather, for lots of sporting activities and outdoor play.

All children are offered a snack at some point during the club, usually around 4:00pm. This ranges from beans on toast to pancakes, always with a piece of fruit and a glass of water or milk. This is designed to put them on after a long day at school until they sit down for their evening meal at home with you.

Across all our settings, the Out of School clubs are very popular, and we recommend if you are interested to get in touch as soon as possible so that we might best accommodate you and your family’s needs.
