Bardsey Out of School Club
The Out of School club is based in the lower school hall and makes use of the fantastic outdoor space within the school grounds. Children are escorted to and from school (lower school children are always collected from their classrooms) to ensure their safety.
All of our Out of School clubs are Ofsted registered and as such we adhere to all child-practitioner ratios required of us. This means your child will be safe and secure within our care whilst having a great time after a hard day at school.
At breakfast club, children are given a variety of breakfast options and some specially selected activities to prepare them for a full day at school.
On arrival they will be given a variety of different activities to choose from. These include: arts, crafts, board games, books, sports equipment and many other activities which are on offer!
At the start of term, we do a wish list questionnaire with the children to ensure we have all the resources to offer your child to ensure they have the best time with us. We always offer a quiet area for children to start their homework or just read a book.
All children are offered a snack at some point during the club, usually around 4:00pm. This ranges from beans on toast to pancakes, always with a piece of fruit and a glass of water or milk. This is designed to put them on after a long day at school until they sit down for their evening meal at home with you.
Across all our settings, the Out of School clubs are very popular, and we recommend if you are interested to get in touch as soon as possible so that we might best accommodate you and your family’s needs.
