GSAL Holiday Club

The Grammar School at Leeds Holiday Club is run on site at GSAL with access to the extensive school grounds for outdoor activities and sports. We offer places for up to 70 children split into two groups:

Mini Chill Out (nursery – year 1, ages 3-7)

Our Mini Chill Out Group caters for children from nursery to year one, making holiday childcare easy and convenient for you, even if you have children of different ages. Here younger children can play with toys and equipment and participate in a wide variety of activities all tailored around their age.

Chill Out (year 2 – year 8, ages 7-13)

In our Chill Out Group older children can have fun playing sports and games, as well as getting involved in our workshops and activities. Alwoodley Holiday Club offers the perfect environment to try new things, make new friends and most importantly have a great time!

The club opens at 8.30am every weekday morning and children arrive excited for the day ahead. As we offer different activities and events each day, children can attend for the whole week and still have a new experience every day.

Our Clubs

GSAL Holiday Club runs throughout all major school holidays from 8.30am – 5.30pm during the week. Although the club operates from The Grammar School at Leeds, we welcome children from all schools across Leeds and further afield, so no one needs to miss out! Children attending the club just need to bring a packed lunch with them and we’ll provide the rest.

Children attending our holiday clubs also benefit from the use of the school grounds and fields for lots of sports and outdoor fun, including tennis, cricket and rugby and camping activities such as woodcraft and fire making.

What we Offer

GSAL Holiday Club is different from the typical holiday camp as our aim is to add something unique and special to the children’s holidays. We want to create experiences that the children will always remember, so we frequently welcome external visitors and entertainers to the club.

Children’s Corner Childcare has been providing exceptional childcare services throughout the Leeds area for over 20 years. All our holiday clubs are Ofsted registered and overseen by our experienced members of staff, so children spending time with us are always safe, happy, and enjoying themselves.

Some of our previous holiday clubs have included workshops in dance, martial arts, cookery, circus skills and graffiti art. Children also benefit from the use of the on-site swimming pool and we swim twice a week, which is always great fun.
