Before and After School Clubs

At Children’s Corner Childcare we understand that while your child’s transition to school is something to celebrate, it can also present some challenges in terms of childcare. Our before and after school clubs are here to support you and provide a fun, safe and engaging environment for your child, where they can relax both before and after a busy day at school.

With over 20 years’ experience in caring for children we offer the highest quality childcare in all our before and after school clubs. Each of our settings are Ofsted registered with fully qualified, dedicated staff members overseeing everything.

Choose your Activity

Our before and after school clubs differ from regular kids’ clubs, as we give children the freedom to choose the activities they would like to be involved in. At the start of term, we ask the children to fill in a ‘wish list questionnaire’ detailing what resources they would like at the club. This means we can provide everything your child dreams of to ensure they have the best time with us.

Before School Childcare

Children are welcomed to the before school club from 7.30am each morning where they are offered a variety of healthy, filling breakfast options to set them up for the day.

We then engage the children with some fun activities that are specially selected to prepare them for a full day of school.

Once it is time for school to begin, we escort the children to their class where they are met by their teacher.

After School Clubs

At the end of the school day, we collect children from their classrooms and escort them to the after school club. Here they can play with their friends, engage in fun activities, and make use of the outside equipment within the school’s grounds.

We have a huge range of equipment on offer including cricket, golf, badminton, and tennis sets, as well as board games and arts and crafts. We try to extend the children’s learning by incorporating what they have been studying at school that week into the activities we provide.

For children who simply want to unwind quietly after a day at school we also offer a calm area, where they can start their homework or read a book.

A healthy, nutritious snack is provided to the children at around 4pm so they will be full until their evening meal at home with you. After school clubs run until 6pm each day, so you can fit collection in around your work hours.
